Express Cuisine

Tuscan culinary tradition has its roots in ancient times. A straightforward, genuine, and honest cuisine, born from Etruscan heritage and enriched by the culinary creativity of the Medici family. After the French Revolution, the new bourgeois class allowed this tradition to spread and take root in the countryside, becoming closely tied to local products. “A poor man’s cuisine that could be served at a king’s table,” exclaimed a distinguished statesman in the entourage of Vittorio Emanuele II.
